And now for something completely different...

The  Newark Kit Car Show is famous for bringing to the public's attention some wonderful one off specials and an example of just such a vehicle is this one to watch out for.

Heading for the show, for one day only, is a very special one off car designed and built by John Wright. It is bound to catch your attention. A modified 1972 Leyland Lorry chassis has been used and fitted with a Tilling-Stevens 3 cylinder, 6 piston, super-charged two stroke diesel engine and 5 speed gearbox. With a Cadillac 8.2 litre rear axle with L.S.D and using Mercedes truck power steering. It uses a Fordson tractor radiator inside a John Wright shell. It uses Ford 100E roof panels to give the curved body work. As we said something very different. Also keep your eyes peeled for the owners very special Citroen.

To see more examples of cars like this one, you just need to be at the show. Don’t miss it!
