Are there facilities for the disabled?

Yes. We advise use of the public car parking, as it is closer to the main exhibition hall. We instruct our car parking staff to reserve some disabled parking spaces close to the Public Entrance. Please ask the staff for advice.

The showground is serviced with good tar macadam roads and this is the case for the link between the entrance and the main exhibition hall, which should be good for wheel chair users. The hall complies with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995(DDA). Ramps to the entrance, wide doors etc. are all in place. There are disabled toilets on site at the Public Entrance, The Cedric Ford Building and the Joe Hallam, where the toilet / showers are located.

Inside all of the exhibitions halls, there is a no smoking policy. The owners of the showground have now extended this ban to include the Cedric Ford Pavilion. This is the building where we have our bars during the day and the Saturday evening entertainment. We ask for your co-operation with this no smoking policy.
